Purpose

The purpose of our program is to assist student and their families in making a smooth transition from school to work and accessing their communities upon exiting the public school system.

This community based transition program is housed at Ballard Swedish Hospital. This is out fifth year of providing transition services to students with developmental disabilities who are 18-21 years old and still eligible for educational services. Our goal for each student is paid employment during their last year of program participation and paid employment in place for all students upon exiting the Seattle Public Schools.
