Ballard High School Vision Statement

  • All students will develop positive relationships with adults and students at Ballard High School through academic, extracurricular, and social opportunities.
  • All students will receive support – academic, social, cultural – in order to take on the challenges they will face, including college, career, and other endeavors.
  • All students and families will join with Ballard High School to engage as partners in supporting and strengthening the school and greater community.
  • All students will develop individual strengths, achieve academic excellence, and be recognized for their successes.

Ballard Athletics Paperwork

  Athletic paperwork is available in the Main Office or can be found on the Ballard Atheletics Booster Club Website

 Also, Athletic Paperwork will be accepted in the Main Office Monday through Thursday from 9 A.M. to noon during the month of July.

Important upcoming dates

                Sept.1 – Ninth Grade Parent Orientation Night. 7:00 P.M. Auditorium

                Sept. 2 – Ninth Grade Student Orientation/Transition Day. Begins at 8:00 A.M. in the Main Gym. Concludes at noon.

                Sept 8 – First Day of School! New Students and Freshman start at 8:00. All other students come at 10:40.

                Sept 16 – First PTSA meeting. 7:00 P.M. in the BHS Commons

                Sept 28 & 29 – Staff Professional Development. Two hour early dismissal

                Oct 7 – Curriculum Night/Open House. 7:00 P.M.

                Oct 8 – Staff Professional Development. No School for Seattle School District students

                Oct 27 & 28 – Staff Professional Development. Two hour early dismissal
