About the Tournament

This golf tournament is a fundraiser for Ballard High School athletics and bands.  Not only do you get to have a fabulous, fun day of golf, dinner and other activities, you are making sure that BHS athletics and the bands receive funding in order to be competitive in KingCo 4A. The past eight years, this golf tournament has been able to provide funding for all teams and we want to continue this tradition...we need your support in order to fulfill this goal!

Enjoy a great day of golf and camaraderie at the 2009 BHS Golf Classic. The 2009 BHS Golf Classic will be held at The Golf Club at Newcastle-featuring two award-winning courses, Coal Creek and China Creek. Both courses provide golfers with mesmerizing views as well as challenging and varying terrain. Golfers at all levels are welcome.

Your foursome will have an opportunity to play nine holes on each course, allowing you to experience firsthand the distinctive elements of Coal Creek and China Creek.

The tournament also features a $100,000 putting contest and FOUR hole-in-one cars courtesy of Carter Volkswagon!

Message from Principal Phil Brockman

Dear Friends of Ballard High School,

Beaver Pride is a powerful thing. Your generous support of the Ballard High Golf Clasic demonstrates your tremendous support for our athletic programs.

Funding provided by the Seattle School District for our athletic teams, and marching and pep bands primarily funds some team transportation costs. Each team only receives about $500 from the District to cover all costs of their sport for the season. The Music Program receives no District Funds. We rely on self-generated funds to help cover the costs of:
