Victor E. Salvino
Class of 1951

Victor graduated from Ballard High School in 1951 and set off for a career in the trucking business that lead him to his future home in Dallas, Texas. In 1999, Victor returned to Seattle to join in the festivites of the opening of the new high school. He immediately became involved, funding the Strength Fitness Training Center in memory of Coach Henry Bendele '24. His generosity and support to BHS is legendary. He was the first chair and force behind the First Annual John Boitano Golf Tournament. Victor likes to get everyone involved, challenging others to match gifts to benefit all of the students to enrich their academic and athletic experience while at BHS. He challenges you to step up and help him support the strong tradition of excellent athletics by supporting the Seventh Annual Ballard High School Classic.

Class of 1963

Art grew up in Ballard, attending Whittier Elementary, James Munroe High School and graduated from Ballard High in 1963. At Ballard, he played football and was an offensive and defensive All City guard. Art has been an active member of the Ballard High School Foundation since its inception ten years ago, and now serves as one of its Vice Presidents. He also was one of the foudning members of the Ballard High School Anuual Golf Tournamentand served as its Chair for three years. His involvement in this tournament has been very rewarding because it brings together a diverse group of participants who continue wto support the students at Ballard, It is his hope that this tradition will be never-ending.
